Enchanted by a photo workshop which I have just followed
in Haute-Garonne, I would like to share this experiment here.
Working in the vocational training
I will try to be short, effective kind card-indexes workshop.

Context:

I bought a digital camera,
and a girlfriend (one of its models)
prevented me existence of this workshop.

The "title" of the digital workshop of photograph:
tame your digital camera, you are worth it well!

The objective of the workshop:
to discover all the possibilities of your camera
to make "creative" photograph while playing
with the various automatisms, by exceeding them too!
(I made well come with my instructions!)

Means:
Rustic even rudimentary. Here not of flash of studio,
nor of basic uncurlers... juste some reflectors
out of polystyrene, fabrics and ends of mirrors,
ah if, some bulbs halogenous and sometimes
a cell with hand... It is all and it is brilliant because,
like he often says it: "each one of these photographs,
you can remake them tomorrow in your show "
... and it is true!

Contents:

To use during the workshop its digital camera
in all its possibilities.

Naked portrait and (mainly) but also landscape, macro,
report... by half successive days!

The place:
At his place for the working sessions and the meals!
(, it agrees large, one can eat to 10 around
table and the BBQ heats quickly!)
A lodging should be envisaged! (that it can find you)

Duration:
It is necessary to be there Sunday with 19h
and it does not release you before Friday 14h!

Schedules:
not-stop, complete immersion:
the day starts with 8h in front of some crescents
and of the "chocolatines" and then one does not stop...
and for the late bedders certain conversations can
to last half of the night! (to envisage sleep in advance!)

The team:

The organizer of the workshop:
Alain, neither gourou nor batelor, is a photographer
professional "with the retirement" in the style "jovial fellow"
(you know, the kind of anybody with whom all becomes
simple, easy, obvious...) which does not show on Internet
that certain personal research and did not accept
to show us his "book pro" that at the last evening
(there remain to us things to be learned...)

The assistant:

a humour devastator, an absolute discretion,
he seems to leave his magic lantern each time
that one needs assistance!
the make-up girl:

also at ease in the make-up "beauty"
that in the grimage children, it has especially one
"beautiful personality" a person who one is happy
to have met.
Models:

nice to return to you jealous
(ah, the beauty of youth) but not of man....
They are obviously there for the fun, one feels one
complicity between all the members of the team!

Pedagogy:
very few "theoretical contributions" (except the first evening...)
especially councils, a kind of accompaniment,
of "coaching" like one says today.
With instructions sometimes diverting,
who take to you with opposite course!
(ex: Monday morning "this morning you should not make
more than 36 photographs... "
or at the beginning of one half-day of portrait:
"In your photographs the model should not be recognized...")
then it is necessary to know to release itself (especially when
it releases us to 5 in nature with a model!)

My best memories:
- the last meeting of portraits: all trainees
all the trainees and the members photograph
of the team! d¿©sopilant and oh how much revealing!
- a locust (or a grasshopper) which invited itself
at a meeting of naked and which behaved with
showing off of an actor in lack of recognition!
- evenings "critical": herb tea and screen plasma,
tact and insane laughter, Alain sees in your photographs
things which you could not have put!
- Friday!!! (but there chuuut)

What that brought to me:
- another glance, another glance and another glance!
- to stop making beautiful photographs
to make good photographs.
- my camera does not have (almost) more secrecies for me,
maintaining it is me which make the photographs not him!

Envies to return?
Yes and Not!
NOT because I feel enough strong to want
to only progress, to discover me and expose me
through this "average art" as he likes to say it.
YES for the pleasure of the meeting, but not now...
I have so much things to photograph front!
Right desire of him emailer some photographs to keep
the contact...
I will be never the same one however I remain myself.
